This year The National Drive was held at the Hoosier Horse Park, Johnson County, Indiana. Host to the 1987 Pan American Equestrian Games, this 200+ acre facility has ample stabling, under cover competition areas, plenty of dressage and show rings and a Marathon/Cross County course complete with beautiful wooded trails and scenic views. The folks who manage the park were eager to accommodate drivers and riders alike. Complete with a restaurant on grounds, you could find good food and camaraderie during any meal time as we kept them pretty busy. Our clinicians, vendors and staff were busy to assure a good time to all. We also had many additional miles of trails available to us as we had access to military grounds connected to the park. We plan on returning to the Hoosier Horse Park within the next few years due to positive feedback from participants and park staff. Our 2010 guest were a great representation of recreational drivers and the park management is excited we will return in the future.
