Please follow these directions: From I-65 south of Indianapolis, take exit 76B (US31/Taylorsville) north 3 miles toward Edinburgh. After crossing river, at Jct of US31 & St RTE 252 (3rd stoplight) turn left onto Old Hospital Rd (may see signs for Camp Atterbury). Go 3 miles and turn right into Johnson Co Park on Schoolhouse Rd. Go 9/10 mile then turn left onto 31st St. Go past the covered arena, turn left into compound to Barns I-J-K-L. Watch for signs. Click here for printable directions.



Admission

There is no admission fee to enter the Hoosier Horse Park.


Horse Requirements

All horses entering Hoosier Horse Park grounds must have valid proof of negative Coggins test (within 12 months). A 30-day certificate of veterinary inspection/health certificate is required for all horses arriving from outside the state of Indiana. Horses originating in Indiana are not subject to a valid certificate of veterinary inspection/health certificate.


The Hoosier Horse Park requires all horses/ponies/mules be treated in a humane manner in accordance with various state and local humane society guidelines. Show management is expected to enforce fair and humane treatment for all horses participating in an event at the park.

Dogs

  • Dogs are allowed on the show grounds.
  • All dogs must be on a leash (not to exceed 6 ft. in length) and under control of handler at all times, or suitably restrained in a tack stall, etc. Local animal authorities will remove loose dogs at the owner's expense.
  • Dogs in distress left in cars, trailers, etc., will be removed at the owner's expense.
