A carriage parade! This is a chance to hook up and take part in an informal parade thru the Horse Park. It will be a procession of horses and carriages moseying thru the Park. You can dress up as much as you please or you can go casual.
Can you imagine up to two hundred and fifty turn outs driving thru the beautiful Park letting the horse lovers really enjoy them? Much of the parade route will be on pavement and there are some hills, so shoe your equine accordingly.
TRACE PACE, Friday, 3:00. The informal Trace Pace is an opportunity to drive a measured course of varying terrain between 6-8 kilometers (3-5 miles). Each route will be marked, and participants will be timed. The ideal time(s) for horses and ponies will not be known to the participants in advance. Those completing the route closest to the ideal time(s) will “win” the trace pace.

The ADS will again hold its annual membership meeting during The National Drive. National Drive participants who are not members of ADS are welcome to attend most all the meetings. A schedule will be made available.
